ITINERARY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions govern all reservations and our privacy policy. Payment for services constitutes acceptance of these terms for all group members; physical or digital signatures are not required.
1. Payment signifies acceptance of responsibility for maintaining sufficient health to complete the chosen tour. TOURING-ECUADOR is not liable for medical or unforeseen expenses. TOURING-ECUADOR and its service providers assume no responsibility for additional costs arising from special arrangements or passenger inability to participate in planned activities.
2. Clients are responsible for ensuring their passports, visas, and other required documents are valid and compliant with all current regulations.
TOURING-ECUADOR is not liable for denied entry to the destination.
3. No refunds will be issued for missed visits, meals, or early/late departures, nor for dissatisfaction with any aspect of the itinerary.
4. All complaints or claims must be reported promptly to your tour guide or supervisor during the tour, or submitted in writing to TOURING-ECUADOR within 48 hours of the incident. TOURING-ECUADOR will act as an intermediary to facilitate a response from third-party providers but bears no responsibility for their actions or decisions regarding the complaint or claim. We strongly advise all travelers to secure comprehensive travel insurance covering trip delays, cancellations, baggage loss, accidents, and illnesses. Note that travel insurance is not included in our services.
5. The client is required to furnish local contact information and ensure availability for contact by a TOURING-ECUADOR representative in the event of an emergency (e.g., last-minute itinerary adjustments). The client is responsible for providing TOURING-ECUADOR with all necessary documentation and information accurately and promptly. Subsequent booking modifications may incur penalties imposed by third-party providers. TOURING-ECUADOR is not liable for actions of third parties (e.g., protests, vandalism, natural disasters) or weather conditions that impede the itinerary's execution.
All Third-party rights are expressly reserved
6. TOURING-ECUADOR and our third-party partners retain the right to modify itineraries as needed without prior notification. Any additional expenses arising from unforeseen itinerary changes beyond our control are the client's responsibility. TOURING-ECUADOR is not liable for missed or delayed tours if clients fail to provide contact information or are unreachable. Furthermore, TOURING-ECUADOR and our third-party partners reserve the right to adjust pricing without prior notice to reflect uncontrollable cost increases, such as government-imposed taxes.
7. TOURING-ECUADOR disclaims liability for clients who fail to arrive at the airport in sufficient time for their flights (90 minutes prior to domestic flights within continental Ecuador, 2 hours for flights to/from the Galapagos Islands, and 3 hours for international flights). TOURING-ECUADOR is not responsible for clients' failure to adhere to provided instructions. No contractual obligations exist between TOURING-ECUADOR and the client until payment is received.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
8. Cancellation policies vary by service provider. Please contact your travel consultant to determine the specific cancellation policy applicable to your services.
9. All cancellation requests require written submission with comprehensive supporting documentation, including but not limited to evidence of accident, serious illness, or death. TOURING-ECUADOR prioritizes client satisfaction and provides comprehensive support before, during, and after each experience. Our team of trained professionals is dedicated to addressing any concerns.
10. Failure to appear for a reservation constitutes cancellation without notification to TOURING-ECUADOR, resulting in forfeiture of the full payment. Reimbursement processing times vary depending on the service provider, with an average timeframe of 30 to 60 days.
11. TOURING-ECUADOR is not responsible for any bank service charges incurred during the reimbursement process. Modifications to confirmed bookings are contingent upon availability and the terms and conditions of third-party providers. TOURING-ECUADOR reserves the right to impose an administrative fee.
12. Reimbursement will not be provided for the following:
a) Lost travel time or substituted services;
b) Itinerary changes made post-departure;
c) Circumstances beyond TOURING-ECUADOR's control (e.g., alternative arrangements necessitated for passenger safety or continued program participation);
d) Client departure from the program, or missed scheduled activities, meals, or accommodations;
e) Service loss or inconvenience resulting from inadequate documentation (e.g., passport, visa, vaccination certificate, etc.);
f) Post-confirmation discounts or special offers.
